12/18/06 Alright, we know it's been WAY too long from our last update. Sorry, but most of us have been out of town and you did NOT want to see what Skippy had planned to put up on the site while we were gone. Anyway, we're back and to help celebrate the Holidays it's time for us to post our annual Holiday Page. 10/04/06 OK, we're on a roll. We had to sit on these pictures for a bit until she cleared immigration, but we are now proud to show off our newest babe, Lady Vivienne de Chateau-Porcien... or as we call her "Viv". Not only that, but we've also got pictures of the wonderful Lady Octavia AND IF THAT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH... we've got pictures of the two of them together! If you ask us, anytime you can get a two-fer it's a great deal!

09/25/06 Hi folks, Web Guy here. Well our buddy and co-worker for this site, Camera Guy is back with us again after having to take a bit of time off to work on some new projects (like our Rose & Dagger Studio) and also he's been getting over some kind of bug. Anyway, he's back in action again so we've now got a wonderful set of pictures for you of a very out going gals we met. Check out her picture sets and please enjoy... Hana!

08/16/06 OK, we know it's been over a month since our last update on the site. Put down the burning torches and pitch forks folks, we are about to redeem ourselves. Part of the reason we've been off line for so long is that we are trying to start up a legitimate business putting the skills Camera Guy has been learning to good use. This sort of thing takes time so we've all been working hard on this new project. We'll let you folks know how it turns out and hopefully none of us will wind up in jail from it. Hopefully.
Anyway, if you think a month is a long wait, then imagine what it's been like for the last three years since we last saw this lovely lady out at Scarborough Faire in 2003. But you know, good things are worth waiting for and we have a major pay-off for all you fans out there. She now has her own page and it's loaded with awesome pictures of the awesome... Natasha!

07/09/06 We hate to admit it, but we've been kinda hording this new set all to ourselves for a few months. Sorry, look... we've been rather busy with assorted projects and... well there was that restraining order against Skippy we had to deal with (you don't want to know). Anyway, everything is now all worked out and the new pages will now be coming out on a regular basis. So let's start things off with the mysterious and lovely Leiga!

06/21/06 Well the 4th of July is almost here and wouldn't you know it, with the rest of the country having to tread water with all the rain and flooding going on we still have a drought here in good old Garland, U.S.A. Yup, it's the first day of summer and we've already heard the rattling crash of the gates of Hell slamming shut so that they can keep it cooler down there than it is here. Because of the drought & heat they have severely limited the number of Fireworks shows that will take place in our area. When we got word that our three in house trouble makers weren't going to let that stop their fun and were planning to make their own pyrotechnics we had to act fast. To help prevent them from torching half the city we decided to offer them (and you, too) something even better than Fireworks with our 4th of July 2006 Babe Fest page. It seems to have worked, the boys are having a great time making the same sounds they do at a Fireworks show (ooo...ahhh...ohhh!) with every new picture they click on. We suggest you give it a try, too and have a Happy 4th of July America!

06/06/06 Is today really that scary, or is it all hype from all the folks that want to sell you everything from their books to good luck charms. Skippy says he's not taking any chances and is hiding in his room today. That's OK with us since that gives us a chance to finish up the second half of the Babes of Scarby 2006 page, the Babes Bios and even a little surprise we have for you at the bottom of the page. Nothing pisses off evil spirits like people enjoying themselves, so go ahead, enjoy the page soon you'll be chasing away all that doom & gloom!

05/18 OK, first off, we apologize to everyone who has been waiting breathlessly for our annual Ren-Fest page to the beautiful Babes who attend Scarborough Faire. We have no excuse except that we had to go up to New York two weeks ago to bail out our three Staff members who are always in trouble, yup... Skippy Moriarty & even Ohshee. It seems the boys got a bit tired of looking at the TV coverage from Lincoln Center of that guy who shut himself in that tank of water for a week in preparation for a stunt of holding his breath. We're afraid the boys got bored with all coverage of a guy doing nothing (they do enough of that around here every day) so they decided that the American viewing public needed something a bit more exciting to watch. (Sadly, this time we had to agree with them.) They disappeared for a couple of days and then we were contacted by the New York police asking us to post their bail. It seems our lads were arrested while waiting in line to walk past the big water bubble carrying a five gallon tank full of murky water, some strange looking fish and the tank was labeled, "Danger, Live Piranha!". They apparently had the intentions of dumping the fish into the big tank and turn a rather boring TV event into a new and more exciting reality show they called, "Who Doesn't Want To Get Eaten!" Actually, the fish were only three crappie they had caught over in the Trinity River, but they did look a bit scary (hey, anything that can live in that water really is scary!) Since there was no harm done and the Judge wasn't a real big fan of that guy backing up traffic around the Center, their charges were dropped to Malicious Mischief with Intent. Once we told the court what these guys had been up to lately the charges were dropped on the grounds of insanity (imagine that) and we had to promise not to let them cross the New York State line again. What really bothers us is that the guys have now been talking to a TV producer about some ideas they have for future "Reality" shows. This could get interesting and this could get scary. We'll see.

04/21 Well Tax Time is over and you can now go out and spend that wonderful check or now start working overtime to make those payments for the money you owe. (sigh) Either way it's time to celebrate and we can't think of any better way than to post some more pictures of a lovely lady we introduced you to this past Valentine's Day. That's right, we've got some new pictures of Tempest! And for all of you fans out there of the character of "Bloodrayne" we've got a real treat, Miss vanGuard, a.k.a. The Warrior Mistress has allowed us to post a series of pictures from her site for your enjoyment. So what are you waiting for? Enjoy! ;-)

04/11 Well two things you can count on in the spring, crazy weather, tax time and the local Ren-Faire (ok, that's three, but who's counting?) We can't do anything about the first two, but we can help you enjoy the third. Scarborough Faire just opened this past weekend and we intend to enjoy as many days out there as possible. That means we intend to get as many pictures of beautiful gals posing with sharp weaponry as we can and making introductions to some new faces we can photograph for you in the coming year(s). Gosh, we love this job. In the mean time you can check out some more Fantasy Art pics we got of Luis Royo's work (man, he's good) and even some more pictures we have of the beautiful lady known as Farasha (man, she's awesome!)

The web site is still under re-construction, so there still may be a few link related problems. Not to worry. We're still working on it and Web Guy (hopefully) should have it figured out in a while.

03/28 As you may b able to tell, we're starting to update the old web site. Nothing very flashy, mind you, but a long over due touch here and there. This of course means the occasional screw up so please bear with us while we get everything sorted out.
In the mean time you can go to Tryphyna's page to check out the great new pictures we've had the privilege of adding to her page in quite some time. We think they were worth waiting for. Check them out for yourself!

03/14 After our three friends looted the petty cash fund (and it was pretty petty to start with) we hardly had enough spare change to scrape together to buy all the hard working staff members a beer to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. However we didn't want to disappoint our site fans out there so we found three lasses who agreed to the wearin' o' the green in a series of photo-sessions for you! So raise your glasses and please enjoy our St. Pat's Babes of 2006!

03/02 Well we finally found out where the last of our petty cash and the Terrible Trio of Skippy, Moriarty and Ohshee got to. It seems that they were down in New Orleans helping out the local economy and even came back with a very questionable souvenir. See what they were up to at the bottom of the Bead Babes of 2006 page. 02/25 Two major items of note for today... First, there are only 10 more shopping months until Christmas 2006 (Yikes!) Second, with the biggest ongoing party in the U.S. taking place in New Orleans this weekend it's time for us to post our popular Bead Babes of 2006 and this time THERE WILL BE NUDITY ...only you just can't see it (sorry). Use your imaginations and enjoy the sets, we know Captain Jack did.

02/16 Something new (kinda). We are beginning to add new Screensavers to our Downloads Page. Today we have added one with the lovely Farasha and will be adding more spotlighting several of our Lovely Lethal Ladies and different themes (Ren-Faire 2005, etc.) soon. 02/09 Well Valentine's Day is right around the corner and we have been lucky enough gather together for you the most romantic group of gals who ever swung steel! Roses and chocolates are for amateurs, to really get her heart going, give her sharp, shiny steel! Well, the chocolates wouldn't hurt either! Please check out our

01/16/06 What a great way to start the year, here a double photo set with Annariel and Farasha posing with our newly customized blades we are calling The Twins! We have more sets with these lovelies (both the ladies AND the swords) planned for the up coming year, so keep checking back. We are also starting to work on this year's Valentine's Day photo sets for those of you who are Romantically inclined!

12/20 We haven't had any sleep for what seems like days working on all the pictures we've taken for this year's 2005 Holiday Cheesecake page. Five lovely ladies and thousands of pictures later we have the honored hall here at Babes with Babes decked with some of the finest pictures we have as yet taken and now we have them posted for all of our fans out there just in time for the holidays.
After this, we're having our annual Staff party then closing the office for a couple of weeks to recover.

11/19 After months of polite notes, pleading, begging and even the kidnapping of one of our staff members by our fans of Full Metal Glamour we have finally gotten down to business and have finished off and posted our pages of Lovely Ladies from both Scarborough Faire and TRF 2005 for you. Sorry it took so long and we promise to keep things a bit more timely in the future.

10/26 Ok, it's been crazy around here what with the storms in the Gulf and some major life events that have changed things up around here like you wouldn't believe. But be that as it may, Halloween is right around the corner and do we ever have a treat for all of you fans out there. Not one, but five lovely ladies to haunt your dreams with our phantasmagoric photo-set we call the "Glamorous, Ghostly, Graveyard Gals" Boo y'all!

09/01 Nothing like starting the month off with a great photo set. Please say hello to Farasha, an awesome lass who actually studies the art of fencing... not the stuff you put up around your backyard! (Geez!) No, she studies the sport that has been described as "A game of chess with steel in hand." That's right, actual sword play and you can tell by the way she handles her blades that she knows how to use them!

08/31 Alright, the month of August is now behind us and that means that the major holiday months are fast breathing down our necks. Halloween, Thanksgiving & Christmas will be on us before we know it and we are starting to gear up for the seasons. Yes, we know that we've been rather slow in getting out new sets for you folks, and to that end we apologize. However, we have another great set of pictures we've done with the awesome Lady Octavia that we think will hold you for a while. Please enjoy!

08/11 OK, we're getting back into the swing of things. Life has been crazy around the old back booth of the bowling alley, but we are back on track bringing you fantastic the pictures we've been taking... now that Camera Guy and Web Guy are out on bail... long story... another time.
So let's start off with a great set we took down near Austin, Texas this summer of the beautiful Lady Oksana, driving force behind the Angel Sword forge. We think you are going to love these shots.

06/15 Wow, it's been a while for the blog, hasn't it? What's been happening lately... Hmmm. Well Scarby 2005 is now over and we met a great number of new people out there this year and are in the process of contacting them for formal photo shoots. We've already started with one lovely lass we met there who goes by name of Farasha and you can see her "teaser" page if you click her link. We've also been updating the pages of the fantastic Lady Octavia and the mysterious Sanura. We think it's worth your time to go and visit them all!

04/20 So what's been happening with the crew? Well Scarby 2005 has just started up for the season and we hope to soon be posting more of the lovely ladies out there posing with the lovely blades they have for sale. We've also got several additional photo sets we'll be posting in the next couple of weeks of many of your favorite Babes and we have a new set for you of one of our Valentine's Dave Babes, it's Milady Bastet!

03/23 OK, now things are rolling. We've got two new sets for you of the beautiful Lady Octavia and a new theme we'll be following for you that we've titled... "Teenaged High School Ninja Vixens".

03/16 Oh man, I have been bad about updating this page! Since the last time I did, we've added the Valentine's Day page and introduced you to Milady Bastet, Astraea and Annariel. We've also introduced you to the awesome Tahiya on her own page. And now to top that off, we put our beers down long enough to get a few quick pics for a St. Patrick's Day page and also introduce to you the marvelous Sanura. I have got to get back into the swing of things around here. Sorry.

12/19 Well Christmas time is getting closer and we've got another Holiday Time Treat for you (and you don't even have to worry about the calories!) Tryphyna came by our studio and graced us with a fantastic Holiday Photo Set that we can't wait to share with you. Here's one present that you can open early and not feel guilty!

12/14 It's time for the Holidays and we've been busy! We've actually got two treats for you! The first is a new lass to our site by name of Lady Octavia. She's a fashion designer who is no stranger to sharp bladed hardware. When we asked her if she would like to pose for the holiday pages she was quite excited. We think you'll be excited with her pictures, too. Please welcome and enjoy the pics of Lady Octavia.
Our second holiday surprise is... well for right now, a surprise! We won't make you wait until Christmas day, but she will indeed be worth the wait!

11/25 It's Thanksgiving and we want to thank all of our fans out there by posting one of the largest single updates we have ever done! We got six sets of lovely ladies from the Texas Ren-Faire 2004 for you and a whole new set of fantastic pictures we've taken of The Morrigan. So after you've eaten that great meal at Grandma's, sneak off and fire up her cable internet connection and enjoy these photo sets. You may even want to sneak Grandpa in there with you.

10/11 If you haven't been clicking about recently, we've got a couple of CHICKS IN CHAIN MAIL that you should really check out. We also got a great picture of BloodRayne straight from this month's issue of Playboy, and last, but by no means least, we've added a couple of new pictures of our own Fairy Queen, Princess Adora!

09/08 We've updated Lilith's third picture set with even more awesome pictures we've taken and have (Not too modestly) posted some of the Awards we've been given for our web site. We are especially proud of the International recognition we've been granted from Watha, Norway and their Helizzet Award. They weren't sure which category to place us in, but we are proud to receive the Watha Helizzet Award just the same. Thanks !

08/30 My heavens have we got a line up for you! New pictures of a favorite of ours, the Capitina! Pictures of a Russian Lass with a questionable Past... Mishka! And our first ever (and we really hope not last) honest to goodness Chick in Chain Mail... Renee! Add to that a new bumper sticker for the up coming elections and you have quite a load to go and see... so what are you waiting for!

08/10 Here's an update to make everyone jealous (we know we are). Not being tied down to a day job like the rest of us poor slobs who work here, our buddy and very silent partner, Captain Jack, gets a chance to get out and about. He even sends us pictures every now and then to let us know what he's been up to and to make us want to hate his guts (if he has any). This time he's in Las Vegas having a ball on the strip and has even found an old publicity still he had made when he briefly worked on the original Star Trek series. Really!

07/31 Well July has come and gone and now it's time for August (and if any of you ladies out there are named August please give us a call and set up a photo session!) In the mean time we've just updated the site with a new page of the lovely Tryphyna with almost 50 pictures. Camera Guy is both tired and proud. We think you'll like them, too. By the way... this is just the FIRST set we have of her. Check back for more later.

07/12 You would not believe how long it took to get these fantastic pictures up! Who cares, they're worth it! Please welcome back the lovely Lilith with several photo sets, including one we did for her birthday. Also, please welcome an awesome young lady by name of Sebastienne, you are going to fall in love! Not to be out done, we've updated Antoinette's Ren-Faire page with pictures we took for the 4th of July. Enjoy them all!

07/07 Princess Adora's page is not only up, but also updated (already?) with pictures from her smashing 4th of July session. Now THAT'S what we call Fireworks!

07/03/04 Independence Day! A time for hotdogs, cold beer, parades, fireworks and more cold beer. Happy 4th of July everyone! This year we pulled out all the stops and then quickly put them back in again because Skippy's trailer started rolling down the hill. After we did that we got busy taking a mountain of pictures with a Patriotic Theme to them for you to enjoy and also to add several many new Babes for you, too. So pull up a chair, turn up your speakers, pop the top on a cold one and please enjoy the 4th of July 2004 Babes!

6/09 Well Scarborough Faire ended last week and everyone here was worn out. It was another great season out there, even if it was possibly the coldest and wettest one we can all remember in over twenty years! Even though the weather did not co-operate, we did get some fantastic pictures of the ladies that grace the grounds and drop into the Angel Sword booth. We would have like to post these shots sooner, but Web Guy came down with some sort of bug the last day out there and hasn't been able to really work on the site for a bit. He's feeling better now and we are now able to present to you the wonderful Babes of Scarborough Faire 2004!

5/10 Things are crazy and we're as a... well, you know. Anyway we're over here juggling photo sessions and trips to the local Ren-Faire and ,oh yes, the Day Jobs. Please be a bit patient with us, we think you will think the wait is worth it... we sure do! In the mean time, we were contacted by a great lady in California who is a huge Xena fan. Please go and welcome Norma- Xena Wannabe to our pages!

4/26 Spring time also means it's time for the Scarborough Faire Ren Festival here in Texas! We will be adding new Babes and new pictures of the wonderful ladies we have met before out there. 04/12 Spring time has dropped full upon us and you know what that means. If you live in Tornado Alley like us, it means you watch the skies until mid-June. 02/09/04 Still working on overall updates to the look of the site, we hope you like what you see and appreciate any constructive criticisms you may have on what we can do to make the site even better.
That said, we also have (finally) gotten around to adding some more pix to our just-for-fun page entitled "The Quest for Arthur". Check it out, we think you'll get a kick out of it.

10/06 It's late, but it's worth it. We've a new Babe to add to our pack, everybody howl in chorus to welcome Rainwolf! We also have another treat for you, a letter arrived yesterday for The Morrigan for all of you fans of hers out there to let you know what she's been up to lately.

10/01 Ever since we took those great pictures of her out at this year's Scarborough Faire, people have been asking us for more shoots of the fantastic lady known to us as The Morrigan. What a great way to start off the month of October!

09/07 Wow! We thought we'd never get through them all... BUT WE DID IT! We have now finally uploaded ALL of the remainin pictures from Scarborough Faire 2003 (and a few from Scarby 2002 that we found)! Sorry it took so long, but as you know, "Fertilizer Happens". Anyway, we've got Lacheris, Kat, Tyra, Jade, Vulnavia, Yin and Lady Trutel, just to name a few. We've also uploaded the last of our Scarby Bodice Dagger pics... but do not despair, we will be adding more of these pics through out the next year. 08/11 Are we ever embarrassed! While working on some of our files we came across several series of pics that we LOST from last year Scarborough Faire 2002! We are trying to correct this as soon as possible. We've found the lovely Lady Perci for you and will soon be posting shots we got of Abracadeborah and our very own Yin (of Yin & Yang).
We are also posting, for the first time on this site our very own pictorial of Dudes with Daggers... ladies, they are all yours!
In the mean time, we've been taking more pictures than we ever had. So many that we hardly have time to process them for the site. But worry not, soon we will be treating you with the likes of The Morrigan, or as she is known in her off hours, "Morri". Keep your eyes to the site and see for your self.

05/28 Holy Smokes! The Memorial Day weekend out at Scarborough was fantastic! Camera Guy (and the rest of the Staff) were in seventh heaven taking one set of pictures after another. All this and we are still running about three weeks behind with the pictures we already have... (sigh) "it's a tough job, etc., etc., etc.". Anyway, we've got some great new ladies for you to meet: Solaria, Autumn Storme, Swan and Venus. Not only that, but a new load of Bodice Dagger Babes pics for you to enjoy.

05/21 Three new sets of Lovely Ladies. From Scarbie 2002, we have for you the smiling and flirtatious Jest and the musically masterful Lady Brendana. We've also got some great pics of our very own Production Manager... Lady Z. We are now starting to add pictures to our Bodice Dagger Babes page so keep checking back often.

05/14 Not one, not two, three or four, but FIVE new pages of Lovely Ladies we've met out at Scarborough Faire 2003 for you to enjoy. 05/04 It's the end of a long weekend out at Scarborough Faire, working on the website and going to see the new X-Men movie (go see it, it's a winner). 04/30 Several new announcements here... as we hoped you have noticed, we're starting to post up the pictures we're getting out at the Angel Sword booth at this year's Scarborough Faire. Depending on our day jobs schedules and how much sleep we allow ourselves we will try to get as many of them up as fast as we can. Promise... really.

04/14 Well it's spring time in Texas again and that could only mean (that's right) it's time for Scarborough Faire again! Our staff will be out there every weekend hard drinking... I mean hard at work getting some great new pictures you you to enjoy. So click back often, in a week or two we should be posting the first pics of the 2003 Ren-Faire season for you!

02/24 Just had a fantastic photo session this weekend with a lass we don't usually get to see up this way except for when she works at the Angel Sword booth at Scarborough Faire. SpitFire dropped in on us and asked if we'd like to shoot a few pictures... and we said "Hell Yes!" We were lucky that Sword Guy was stopping by to lend a hand so we wound up with a killer photo session. Camera Guy has been busy finishing up the shots and we should have them posted for you by March 1st (which, by the way, is our site's third anniversary!)

02/11 Let's see what's new. For starters, several international sites have posted our address and since then the servers have been SMOKING! We'd like to welcome all of our new fans from all over the world and ask you to keep coming back and to bring friends. Oh yeah, please sign the Guest Book, too.
We finally got some pictures of our Staff for you to see and also got around to start updating the look of our page. We plan to make a few more adjustments as the year goes on. We are currently talking to several new Lovely, Lethal Ladies and are currently setting up future shooting schedules. Check back soon for both new and familiar faces!

09/09 Can you believe it? We still have more pictures of the lovely ladies that we took at Scarborough Faire 2002 and here it is almost time for the Texas Ren-Fest coming up. We know that we have been slow in posting these wonderful pictures of these wonderful ladies, but we hope that we have been making your summer an interesting one. We have lots more to finish and are working with several new Babes as well as several of your favorites to take still more great pictures for you!. Hang in there, it's going to be well worth it!

7/22 OK, a few problems with the site (like it being erased, but nothing we can't handle. Right now we've lost our navigation bars and we're working on that. Fear Not! When we get things back on track we have a TON load of new pictures for you folks, thanks for hanging with us!

6/12 What can we say, it was a fantastic season out at Scarborough Faire here in Texas and we got to meet with many new Babes as well as quite a few from photo sessions and Faires before. We are still working through the over 1,100 pictures Camera Guy took out there this year so give us a bit more time and we'll knock your socks off with some more fantastic pictures!

Here' an update: the Capitina and the Lady G have well recovered from their unfortunate adventure and are doing fairly well. We have added some new pictures of them to their pages. Check them out and see for yourself!

Also, a quick note: we have found out that the day after we got those great pictures of Capitina Alexis and Lady Gellaline they and a friend of theirs were injured in a car wreck when they were run off the road on the way to Scarborough Faire. Their friend was badly injured and is slowly recovering, our Capitina was merely shaken about a bit and our good Lady had to receive a bit more medical care than she wanted. 04/18 Yep, it's Scarborough Faire time again here in north Texas. That means a great opportunity to meet up with our friends at the Angel Sword booth and even get a chance to take a few hundred pictures of their stock being modeled by our lovely, lethal ladies. Yes, we've already given up resisting and purchased another sword from these fine folks and you'll be seeing it soon in future pictures. In the mean time we have two new Babe's for you to meet... Capitina Alexis and Lady Gellalaine.

She's mysterious, enchanting and very, very awesome. She's only known to us as AbracaDeborah and she's our latest find, right off the barstool from the local Friday's. Click to her page now, but be warned... she's completely entrancing.

As you have just noticed (hopefully), there is something a bit different about this page. It's not official yet, but this will be the "New & Improved" look for our web site. There are still a few issues to work out, such as how to get everything to work in an 800X600 format, but we think we finally have a theme to go with. Drop us a line and let us know what you think!

01/10/02 Happy New Year!!! OK, we know that New Year's was last week, but it's taken this long for most of our Staff to sober up enough to work on the web site. To start the year off right, we have a new Babe for you. Say hello to Miss Heather in her debut on our site. We also have added a Site Map to help get everyone around this ever growing pile of web pages that we call home. And last, but certainly not least, we have given in and added a Pest... er- Guest Book on our Home Page for our fans to sign and give them a place to leave their words of wisdom and their impressions of our site. What? You say you don't do impressions? That's ok, neither do we, just go and sign the blasted thing, ok?

12/5 Added an awesome new Babe to our pages, say hello to Vera the Warrior Mistress. Check out her pictures (including some exclusive shots not on any other site yet) then go to her own site for more. We were also lucky enough to be able to get in another photo session with Freya whom you met from the Texas Renaissance Festival photo session. This time it's just a t-shirt, jeans and a sword. The results? You be the judge, but we think she'd look great no matter what she's wearing! Also, on 12/11 we finally got the pictures we took on our outing to the Angel Sword forge up on their own page.

08/25 It's here (finally)! After a marathon session of working on our photo session JPG files fueled by many containers of Oriental food and Sake (courtesy of Ohshee) and the occasional Jackie Chan film (also from Ohshee) we are proud and amazed to at last present to you those lovely ladies of the Renaissance Faire-

08/05 We're back (again) this time rested and slightly sunburned. After all the craziness involved with getting the web site back up, the boss (the BladeMaster) decided we all needed a vacation. He took us all down to the beaches of South Padre Island, Texas for a little "Sun, Surf, Sand & Swords". That's right, we took the cameras and the armory down to the beach with us and had a great time... at least until Skippy and Moriarty were busted waving our blades about on the docks doing their rendition of "The Pirates of Penzance". We tried to bribe the local cops into keeping them for the rest of our trip, but the officer in charge kicked them out after only two hours because no one could stand their singing, but they did hold our entire stock of sharp edged photo props until we left the island. However, we did get one photo set in before all this happened. See our photo session with South Padre's own Sandy Feet.

07/25 We're Back! We're Up! We're Here! Really!!

We want to apologize to everyone who's had a problem connecting to us these past two weeks. It seems that our site host has gone the way so many "Dot Coms" lately and has tanked with no word of warning. They still owe us a year & a half of service, but if you think we'll ever get any of that investment back then I think they also have a bridge in New York they'd like to sell you. Anyway, after a week of franticly running around we have secured the services of a new group and... (drum roll please)...

We want to thank everyone who helped get us back up again and ask all of you folks out there to let your friends know that their favorite sharp edged web site is up and running again. We'll have lots of new pics up for you soon so click back often!

06/26/01 It's here! At last ! Finally! For all of you who have been patiently awaiting the next installment in the adventure of our two sharp edged cyber-agents "Katana and Stiletto"... Chapter Four is now here! Much thanks to the spa repair guy who found it hidden underneath the office Hot Tub. How it got there, we may never know.
Also a great new set of many, many awesome pictures we got to take of a wild gypsy gal by name of Gitane! We think you may not see the likes of her anywhere outside the mist enshrouded forests of Romney. Go check out her photo session and let us know what you think.
And one last late breaking piece of news... last night while we were finishing up our massive mega-upload, there was a glitch in the system. Moriarty swears he had nothing to do with it, but it looks like our Hit Counter got zapped just before we got to log the big 30K number to the front page. Well, that's the way it goes in cyberspace folks. We've taken the counter off for now, but may start it up again just for fun.
06/10/01 No rest for our Staff, they took a company outing to Scarborough Faire and also had time to get in a fourth photo session at Angel Sword. Much merriment was had by all and we left with smiles, memories and much lighter wallets. 06/03/01 If you loved our First and Second Photo Sessions with Angel Sword, then you are going to flip over our Third Photo Session! We got to meet the lovely fantasy artist Nene Thomas there at the Faire, check her work on the Fantasy Art Gallery page. Also, today we are going to be taking our Babes with Blades Staff out to Scarborough Faire (it was the only way they would give us the location of where they had hidden our Production Manager and Camera Guy). Pray for us and for the poor folks at the Faire!

04/13/01 Wow! Have we ever been busy! First of all, we hope you like the new look to the site pages. OK, we know it's only a blue-to-black gradient fill for a background and some minor changes to the buttons, but it does look better. We've also tightened up a few of the other pages to make navigation a bit easier, too. We hope everyone can excuse the lateness in this month's updates, but we've been having a bit of trouble integrating a new piece of equipment here in our office and WebGuy swears that if his PC gives him any more trouble, he's going to re-program it with a fire axe!

03/11/01 We lucked out and got to spend an awesome evening with the elegant and dangerous Miss Pandora.

Also... Look out world! Yin and Yang are loose on Spring Break! That's right, the BladeMaster's nieces are off to see the world. Yin is exploring the Big Apple while Yang is discovering Japan. Their battle cry is "Divide and Conquer!" They are keeping journals of their adventures that we may share with you when they return. They also promised to leave large amounts of our site's business cards at each Cyber Cafe they pass and also to drop us an e-postcard or two. If you happen to see a card lying next to a terminal in Osaka or New York, drop us a note. Have a great trip gals!

03/04/01 Our staff has been working overtime on some of the ideas you folks have been sending us (by the way, thanks for all of them) and we'd like to let you know that we are starting to put together a page for all you "amateur" Babes who emailed us asking if you could pose for our site. We are all flattered and as soon as we have the page assembled, we'll let you know what we're looking for and how to send it to us. We are also starting to put together a page of "Calendar Babes" that you can download each month to help keep your important dates in order. Who knows? Maybe this will eventually lead to a full 4 color separation calendar we can sell on our site and finally get enough money to pay everyone here in cash instead of pizza.

01/28/01 We did it! We finally got around to updating the whole site! (Whew!) The staff would like to thank a future "Babe"- Jasmine (who is closely related to Yin & Yang) for all her web expertise. Thanks! Our Production Manager also donated most of her weekend to this project and we can't thank her enough, either. New pictures! New stories! A new artist for our Fantasy Art Gallery! All this and it's only January. Enjoy!
01/16/2001 Welcome to the next Millennium! OK, we know we all said that was last year (2000), but this time it's the real thing. We've got big changes and surprises planned for you this year, so to start this year off right, just click the throwing star to be taken to our latest (and certainly the one we are having the most fun with) page on our Photo Gallery. We are going to be re-writing the stuff that legends (and laughs) are made of with our new photo-set entitled "The Quest for Arthur". Follow the hard working (and soggy) "Lady of the Lake" as she tries to locate the Once and Future King by arising from pond, fountain or any other handy body of water. The images will be changed every other week or so - so check it out often.
12/27/00 This is last entry we will be making on our site for this year (millennium) . It's been crazy here since October and we have hardly had any time to put anything new on our site. For that we ask your kind forgiveness. The holidays have come rushing up on us an we're afraid we got a bit behind on our upkeep schedule. However, our office party was a smashing success- mostly due to the fact there were no injuries involved- and everyone had a great Christmas. The BladeMaster's niece- Yin, had her birthday on Christmas Eve and when she unwrapped that sword with the sawtoothed blade that our Production Manager picked out , her face lit up the whole room! If we hadn't been at a sushi bar I think she would have jumped up and given us all a hug. Christmas day was also fun. Camera Guy got a new set of studio strobes, I (Web Guy) got some new JavaScript software that I STILL can't get to work right with FrontPage, but I'm going to keep trying. Skippy and Moriarty got several sharp things and the "X-Men" video and Ohshee got a big sackfull of cleaning and polishing supplies to keep his blades bright and rust free. We all chipped in and got our Production Manager a pocket organizer so she can help keep us all on track. The BladeMaster gave both his nieces- Yin and Yang a wickedly sharp throwing star and a blowgun with plenty of "stinger" darts. Now THAT'S a fun Christmas time.
Very soon, though, it will be time to take down the ornaments, the tree and the wreath with the swords crossed on it (yep, that really is our door wreath!) and store them away for another year. The Staff and the models here at Babes with Blades want to wish all of you a HAPPY NEW YEAR! See you in 2001 with lots of new faces and more surprises!
