Welcome to

07-02-10 We know it's been a while since our last update, but trust us, it's going to be worth it. Web Guy actually (finally) got a "real" job and can't spend as much time with our little gang... er, group, so he has arranged for another (and may we say , more gifted) web builder work on completely rebuilding the site. After 10 years it's about time! Of course that means we've got loads of pictures and loads of pages to dig through, catalog and transfer so this is going to take a bit of time. To be honest, this project burned out three other web builders (and we hope this one won't go crazy like the last two) so be patient, it's going to happen and we think you'll like the new look. In the mean time, grab a bunch of sparklers, grill some hot dogs and sit back and enjoy our Salute to the All American Babes with our 4th of July Celebration Page including one picture that's a wink to the great Bob Hope and all you "old school" G.I.s out there. We think the Great One would get a kick out of it and we know you will to. Enjoy!
 
04-07-10 Well we finally found two sets of pictures we've been wanting to post for almost a year now. As you may or may not know, our little organization was blasted by lightning last July and it scrambles some of our files. Now we had backups, but trying to find just where these sets were now files was a chore. However, not to worry, we've found them and now you get to enjoy them, too! Please (finally) welcome these two gals to our pages... Lady Blue Moon and Amelia!

02-07-10 Wow, how about that Super Bowl?! Awesome game and the commercials were pretty good this year, too! We're going to cap off such a fantastic weekend with a fantastic treat for all you fans out there. We're posting two pages for you, our incredibly romantic Valentines 2010 page and our party and take no prisoners Mardi Gras 2010 page. 12-20-09 It's finally here, the big Holiday Spectacular page you've been waiting for... and we're been working our butts off on for the last month. We've got three new Babes to introduce to you including Nimue who is the twin sister of one gal who has been with us for a while Miss LeFey. We also like you to welcome Guinevere and Scarlet to our pages and we hope you'll be seeing more of them very soon in the next years to come. And speaking of next year, we are working on a long over due overhaul of the site for you including a better Gallery page (and the crowd goes wild...!) 10-29-09 Halloween time again and this year we through an all out, no survivor Costume Party for our Babes and had them pose for us. Some of the gals even brought two costumes for twice the fun. Click on over and enjoy this year's eye candy with our 2009 Halloween Treat!
 
09-02-09 First, a great new set of pictures we've been jealously hoarding of Tempest on her own home page. Sorry it took so long to post, but we think you'll love them.
Next an awesome surprise. We were contacted by our very own Warrior Mistress, Vera Van Guard who is now associated with a fantastic photographer out in L.A. by name of Justice Howard. Justice has worked with some of the top talent out there and has even done a series of shots with gals holding a variety of swords. When Vera saw these she immediately thought of us and contacts were made and pictures were sent to post. Justice's work has a great edge to it we think you'll enjoy. Check out her page and her site.
 
08-21-09  Sorry for not keeping the updates coming, but about a month ago our place of business took a bolt of lightning. Most of us were here at the time and it freaked everyone out. Bricks were blown off the building's chimney, battery operated equipment started up on it's own, the alarm system siren made growling noises and Skippy's Darth Varder action figure was waving it's light saber at us (I saw this movie before and I SO didn't like it)!! Anyway, after the smoke cleared (literally) we found that our two computer systems had taken a bad hit and were out of action. The good news is that we had made a totally complete backup of the system and ALL picture files only a few weeks before. The bad news is the time it's taken to get everything back in working order. However, we are back in full working order and to celebrate we're posting not one, but two new sets of pictures for you of both Jayde and Neko. So what are you waiting for? Go check them out!
 
06-27-09 It's summer time in Texas and the rusty gates of Hell have swung shut with a horrible clang... they're trying to keep it cooler down there than it is up here. As the old expression goes, "It's hotter than a firecracker on the 4th of July!" and they're right! However, we've got some extremely cool visual fireworks that you can enjoy in the cool comfort of sitting in front of your computer.

06-08-09 Well some of you out there have complained that we don't have any good Scarby Ren-Faire 2009 pics for you. Sorry about that, the economy has hit even us here at Babes with Blades and even our favorite front man (who is invaluable for lining up all the great gals who get to pose for us out there) at our favorite booth for all things sharp & shiny wasn't able to make it there this year. Not to worry!
We did get to meet several awesome looking ladies out there who have agreed to come by our studio for a full session (yes, and possibly one of out infamous "popsicle shots", too). This works out best for everyone, you get loads of better quality pictures in several many sets and we don't have to dodge extremely sharp things that can slice through a Buick. In the mean time, we do have a new set with a beautify lady who has graced our site before, but now she has her own Home page. Please welcome back Amethyst!
 
05-21-09 You never know what you might find when you start your Spring Cleaning. We were going through some old files when we came across several complete sets of pictures we did of two awesome ladies that we hadn't gotten posted for you in a long while. My only guess is that when our main system crashed a while back that those files got tucked away in a sub-folder and "lost" when we had to re-build everything. Sorry about that. However, we've now found them again and you get to enjoy not one, but two new sets posted with the lovely Tahiya and the awesome Lanashee for you to enjoy!
 
03-15-09 Just when you get over being buzzed from drinking too many Hurricanes it's now time to start enjoying Irish Whiskey and and since we can't buy all of our fans out there a drink we're going to post pictures of 10 of our cutest colleens for you to enjoy instead. 02-23-09 It's Mardi Gras time again! We can't get down to the Big Easy ourselves so for the rest of you fans out there we've come up with over 5 dozen new pictures for you to enjoy with 9 of our Babes! 02-07-09 Well we hope you've been enjoying the last several sets of pictures we've posted for you, especially out gala Holiday set. It took some time to put all those decorations away, but we've finally been able to start work on this years big events, starting with the one that always worries most of us guys out there... Valentine's Day! Not to worry! We've got you covered with a selection of pictures we've done of ten (10!) of our awesomely romantic Babes to help put you and that very special someone in your lives in the right romantic mood. 10/24/08 It's now a week before Halloween and we are proud, happy and exhausted to present to you this year's Glamorous, Ghostly Graveyard Gals 0f 2008. What an awesome series of photo shoots we've had with these ladies and we've got loads of great pictures to share with all of you out there. That's right, you get your Halloween Treats early this year and we guarantee this Eye Candy won't  spoil your dinner, so enjoy!

 
09/26/08 We just couldn't keep these to ourselves any longer... besides... the Production Manager said to post these pictures today or there would be no Margaritas at this afternoon's meeting. Can't argue with that logic. Anyway, everyone comes out a winner when we post pictures of Lady Octavia.

 
09/18/08 Well after a few long sessions with the gang, we decided we should at least try to update the looks of our Gallery Pages. We've divided the Photo Gallery into smaller pages by year to make it easier to find your favorite pictures. Be fore we uploaded this new format, we have tried testing it every way we could to de-bug it. Naturally we know we're going to miss a couple. Bear with us, we'll get them ironed out. Now, the good news, while doing this we came across loads of pictures we always meant to upload for you, but they got lost somewhere along the way. Well we've found them and now we'll finally be posting them for you so stay tuned!

 
09/09/08 We've been having a little problem getting out site uploaded lately. Our Provider is no longer supporting our software so it's a gamble when we can get things working. In the mean time we are going to be trying to learn new software and trying new ways to get these pictures up loaded for you. Sorry for any problems this will cause, but it will be worth it in the long run!

 
09/04/08 We've done it again, another new Lady for you to enjoy. Crymson is known to us as a teacher of Belly Dancing, of the Martial Arts form of Tai-Chi and she's even a published author of books on subject ranging from Horror to Science Fiction. How she EVER found the time to pose for us we may never know, but you'll agree that we're glad she did.

 
08/21/08 We waited for just the right time to post these pictures for you of our newest Babe... Neko. We actually have had two sessions with her and are now making one of the largest postings at one time so you can enjoy a huge number of pictures of this very photogenic kitten. And guess what? We have more, but in the mean time just relax and enjoy these great pictures of a great little lady... Neko!

 
08/20/08 Yes, we posted this year's grand 4th of July page and it was a hit! Unfortunately for you folks out there in Cyber-land we didn't get a chance to remove that annoying music as soon as we had planned... sorry. However, to make up for it we have now posted not one, but TWO sets for you. An updated set of pics of the lovely Vulpeina and a new page for a new lass known as Isilaerien whom you've already seen on our 2006 Ren-Babes pages. Not only that... but we have a huge surprise for you in a day or two... and it won't be more music!

 
06/26/08 Here's an update for all you Ren-Faire Fans out there. We've (finally) posted our Babes of Scarborough Faire 2008 page for you with some faces you've seen before and even a couple of new ones for you to check out... which we suggest you do right now.
And... if you can wait just a few more days, we've got an awesome new set of pictures for you for this year's
4th of July page that we'll have up as soon as we can get Skippy to stop tossing those damned firecrackers under Web Guy's chair when he's working at our (only) terminal.

 
05/18/08 Well yes, we know it's been over two months since our last update... hey... give us a break, half our staff has been down with what ever it is that's been going around. The only guys who somehow managed to avoid getting it were Skippy, Ohshee & Moriarty and there was NO way we were going to let them loose on the internet with our codes. The last time they had internet privileges they tried to sell all our Production Manager's shoes on EBay.  Who knew people would get in a bidding war over a pair of old. brown loafers?
Anyway, we haven't been letting our talents slip away all this time, in fact, we've got a fantastic set of pictures for you from a gal you've already met from the Holiday 2007 page and the 2008 Mardi Gras, Valentine's and St. Pat's pages. Please welcome Myschif to her very own page and enjoy!

 
03/17/08 Well it took a bit of doing, but we think we've topped the last several photo sets we've done. We told you all about how to do that last year, so this year we decided to just jump right in and give you seven, that's right, seven great looking gals with more weaponry than Cupid ever thought to try and fly around with to steal your heart away. 02/05/2008 First update for the new year and it's about time, too! Honestly, though, we been having WAY too much fun over here lately (you'll note a bit of sarcasm in that last statement). This was due to the fact that our Master System's master hard drive C-R-A-S-H-E-D several weeks back right after an awesome set of pictures with six awesome gals. Did we have a full "Ghosted" backup of the drive... nooo. Did we have regular backups of our pictures files... nooo.  Were we freaking out because we almost had seven wonderful years of digital pictures go into the old bit bucket? Hell yes! OK, the time for finger pointing is past and we got totally lucky in that several many of our fans volunteered to help try and recover our files for us. A special "Thank You" goes out to those two people who spent hours recovering all of our pictures files, bit by bit without loosing so much as a single one or zero. Of course, it's taken over a week to get all the data moved back onto the new drive, system installed & configures and applications re-loaded and set up, but I think we are finally ready to get back into the game and what better way to make a come back than with six beautiful ladies (almost) on Bourbon Street flashing you their... um... Blades for our big Mardi Gras 2008 Bead Babes page!

12/18/07 You would NOT believe what else has been going on! Our Provider had made an upgrade to their servers that are going to make the page downloads go faster (really!) the only problem was that there were a few files scrambled up in the change over and so some of you noticed last week that our site was down. After several marathon sessions with tech Support (you write your own jokes on that one) we finally got things back up. It put us a bit behind, but we are proud to announce that we are posting the largest Holiday Special Page in our site's history ! Twelve pages (that's right, twelve, like in the Twelve Days of Christmas!) of lovely ladies decked out in their Holiday finery to help take your mind off the Holiday Blahs of fighting for parking spaces, etc.  Actually, we still need to finish the last 4 sets (we got behind, remember?) but we think the first 8 sets will be enough to chase the "Bah, Humbug"s out of anyone.

12/12/07 Yeah, yeah, yeah... we know. We haven't had a single update since Halloween. It's been busy around here and we've been working short staffed. Most of us have been down with that crud that's been going around, the BladeMaster's place where we usually have our photo shoots has been having some work done on the bath rooms and on top of that, this past Thanksgiving we all had to chip in to bail Skippy & Moriarty out of the Garland lockup. It was something about staging their own version of the big Thanksgiving Day Parade down on Main Street with Moriarty having tied 26 very large helium balloons to Skippy and trying to turn him into a human Parade Balloon. Moriarty claims that if the cops hadn't startled him he never would have let go of the tether allowing Skippy to float free. Fortunately that day there were only light winds from the South and he had only made it to Wylie before two kids with BB guns were able to pop enough of the balloons to bring him down in the Sweet Gum tree in the front yard of a very confused Mrs. Thelma Burleson. Fortunately for Skippy (and us), Mrs. Burleson decided not to file charges, the Wylie police department couldn't figure out what laws were broken so they just told him to leave the city and if he ever came back they would file a restraining order and the Garland cops dropped the charges to just Drunk & Disorderly after the F.A.A. and Homeland Security hung up on them when they called in their report.
Like I said... it's been busy around here. But not to worry, our Production Manager has lined up a great load of awesome gals for Camera Guy to work with for our annual Holiday Page. With any luck, we should be able to have them post for you the week before Christmas. Keep your fingers crossed!

10/19/07 Well since most of us around here seem to have caught that early season cold that's been going around, there's not much else to do but sit all day in front of the monitor and work on getting pictures ready for the web site. I say "sit"... "floating" is more accurate since these cold meds pack a punch. Anyway, if the graphics on my screen will stop fading in and out for a few minutes longer we've got an early treat before Halloween to share with you. Please welcome "Electra" to our pages. To say that she's electrifying is an understatement. This little ball of energy totally lights up a room when she walks in.  Check her out & enjoy!

 
10/17/07 Two months since the last update! Holy crud! OK, we'll admit it, we've been off working on other projects and not spending as much time as we should on your favorite web site. Sorry, but hey, Life happens. Anyway we thought we'd get back into the swing of things with this great set we have of a time travelin' swordswoman by name of Nephesh'amah. Click her name (it's easier than saying it) to go and check out her pictures.
In the mean time, you may have seen another YouTube link on our front page for a bit of video done of the TV program "Britain's Got Talent" done by a gal named Cecily Fay and her dance group "Babes with Blades". LOVE the title and the act's fantastic, too.  Go back to the front page, click it and check it out.

 
08/19/07 It's official, we're back up and running! Sorry for the major delay in getting the 2006 July 4th and Scarby Ren-Babes 2006 pages fixed AND sorry about not getting the 2007 Scarby Babes page posted in a timely manner, but you wouldn't believe what kind of fertilizer has been hitting the fans. First of all, we found out that Termites had all but eaten up the west wall here at "Blade Manor" and the entire kitchen had to be ripped out (to the wall studs) and replaced. Then we were contacted by a production company for loads of highest quality pictures they wanted to use for a commercial for Ask.com and they kept changing their requests DAILY! And to top it all off, as soon as all of that craziness died down, our master computer's motherboard decided to self-destruct. Thank goodness for backups! Well after all that and taking care of a few antics from our Terrible Trio of Skippy, Moriarty and Ohshee we just plain old needed a break and time for the medications to take effect.
Long story short, wait no more... we're back and we've even got a new page up with a gal you've already met on out Holiday 2005 and Halloween 2006 pages. It's our desert warrior and party girl Laila now on her own page. Click here to go and check her out and we promise to get back to posting awesome pics of awesome gals.

 
06/06/07 Well it's officially out and we can now tell you fans all about it. That's right, the rumors are true, Babes with Blades can now be found in a commercial for Ask.com! Several weeks ago we were contacted by a production company who wanted to know if we would mind having pictures from the web site posted on a commercial they were making for the search engine, Ask.com. Naturally everyone here was quite excited so we've been working like mad to polish up the images they needed and getting the web site ready for a host of new fans to drop on by. Yesterday evening the spot began showing on the cable channels and we've heard that one of the major networks will be showing it too! We've even got a link to the spot on the YouTube site. So if you don't have all evening to sit and watch for it on your TV, you can watch a somewhat smaller version of it HERE!

 
05/25/07 No we haven't been closed down  and no we haven't lost interest in taking pictures of awesome looking gals with beautiful, sharp, pointy things. It's just that sometimes life just has a bad habit of getting in the way of the things you love to do best. Know what we mean? Right!
Anyway, we have now taken steps to correct that little problem and are now working day and night... OK, that's a lie, it's more like afternoon and afternoon... to get the web site back up and running for all you Fans out there. So sit back and fasten your seat belts because the new pictures are going to coming your way fast and furious.
Attention current Babes with Blades fans... there's a rumor going about that as soon as next month, something quite fun and crazy will be happening that will involve your favorite (and ours, too) web site. All we can say is...

Keep an eye on your TV set!
 
03/13/07  Just a quick note to all our fans out there... Thanks for letting us know we have more than just several broken links about the site. It seems that when we had to change servers that some of the links and formatting got scrambled up... and what a mess it is! It looks like just as Web Guy fixes one problem, it causes another link to blow out. We apologize for any problems this has caused and assure you that we are working on getting things back working smooth again.
In the mean time, how about checking out our 2007 St. Patrick's Day page? Grab a cold Guinness (no... repeat... NO green beer!) and enjoy these fantastic sets of lovely ladies.
 
02/16/07 We're rolling now! Fat Tuesday is this Feb. 21st and the parties are starting to get wilder down in good old New Orleans. For those of us who can't make it down there and don't want to get arrested by the local cops for tossing beads at gals walking by then we've got the next best ting for you with our Mardi Gras 2007 Bead Babes. 02/07/07 OK, first we'd like to thank everyone who has contacted us to let us know that several of our pages are down. This was due to a small problem in transferring from our old servers to the new ones. We're going to get Web Guy to stop drinking a bit (he's been hanging out with Skippy and friends) so he can get things fixed up for you. Secondly... it's time for our yearly Valentine's Babes page. This year we have five Lovely Ladies posing for you including two new gals that we hope you'll be seeing much more of in the near future. We also have advice for those of you out there who are "Romantically Challenged" and who might need a few tips to survive this Valentine's day. We'd like to say that these tips will guarantee you success, but if you follow these guidelines you'll definitely make some big points with your Significant Other. Check them out.

 
01/11/07 OK, we're going to get this new year started off with a double set of pages for you. Although they've already been in on several photo sessions, from Valentine's Day, Halloween and even Christmas, we've only now gotten around to setting these gals up with their pages... and about damned time, too! 01/05/2007 Happy New Year everyone! First off we'd like to apologize to all our fans who were looking forward to checking out our Holiday Page when we first posted it. It seems that way too many of you hit our site all at once and we wound up blowing our Download Bandwidth allotment right out the roof! Our Provider shut us down to give their Severs a chance to cool off and we decided that now would be a good time to switch our service to their newer Servers. Good idea... bad timing. The week before Christmas they were sorely understaffed and it took almost a week to handle our request. In the mean time, we kept getting emails from fans asking us if we had shut the site down. Nope! Not happening! The site is up and if our Bandwidth reports can be trusted, it's running just as hot as before. We want to thank all the fans out there of Bladed Babedom for sticking with us for six years now. Thanks, and stay tuned, now that we've got more disk space and a broader Bandwidth we've got loads more great pictures coming your way!
