Scarborough 2006

OK teaming fans of Beautiful Bladedom, put down the pitchforks and burning torches, we hear you! Yes we know that the Ren-Fest known as Scarborough Faire has been going on for over a month now and we haven't posted a SINGLE picture... yet. Hey, we been busy! Trust us, we have been getting some great shots out there at our favorite booth of many sharp and shiny things, Angel Sword. Heck, our Production Manager finally gave in and bought a rather sweet short sword / long knife that has a great "techno" look to it. (Yes, we think she's even sleeping with it.)
All that aside, since the Faire is not over yet, we still promise that we will not post a SINGLE picture... so how about we post 74 of them! We're going to try a little different format this time. Instead of posting the pictures of the ladies separately, we're going to put them in one large Gallery and post the names of these gals for you with their information at the bottom of the page. You'll see some familiar faces and some new ones, too. It's a HUGE file and this page probably took a while to load, but trust us, it was worth it!

**By the way. Here's just a little note to that fanatical fan of Bladed Babes who left us that note scribbled on a grocery store shopping bag claiming that he had kidnapped our staff's three trouble makers (Skippy, Moriarty and Ohshee) and that we better hurry up and post our Babes of Scarby 2006 pictures or else... two things:
First, with those three out from under foot, we were able to get these pictures finished two weeks sooner that if they were here causing all manner of problems. So to that we say, "Thank you".
Second, as for their return... sorry Bub. You got 'em, they're your problem now. Just make sure you don't let Skippy put Red Bull on his bowl of Fruity Pebbles in the morning, he tends to get a bit hyper. Good luck.**

What? You say you didn't see any Bodice Dagger Babe shots? Fear not... here they are!

Well this year's Scarborough Faire season is now over. 'Bout time, too, here in Texas it's getting too damned hot to go about all day wearing elaborate costumes and spending the day without air conditioning. You know what they say... the Devil hates to have Texans down there, compared to where we've lived we're always complaining that the fires of Hell are too cold. ;-)
Anyway, we were lucky to catch another camera load of lovely ladies on our last day out at the Faire, including a new gal who came up to us and asked if she could be a Babe. How can we refuse a request like that, we said "Sure!" So please enjoy these last pictures of the Beautiful Bladed Gals of Scarborough Faire 2006 and remember to check out their bios at the bottom of the page... and maybe a surprise!

Lastly, we'd like to thank the hard working staff at the Angel Sword booth for allowing us to borrow some of their time and space in their booth and letting us play with all their wonderful sharp and beautiful toys!

2006- some of these lovely faces you've seen before and some new ones are here, too.
	Leo the Red Newbie A mysterious pirate lass who was last seen in the company of a certain Captain Jack Sparrow... or was that Captain Morgan of the Spiced Rum trade? Anyway, she's a lovely lass who has sneaked onto our pages before back in 2005... if you know where to look!
	Isilaerien Newbie Although she has a quick and cutting wit, she's also a Healer who is able to channel her healing energies through her hands. That's right, she gives one hell of a great massage! We've been trying to get her on our site for years now and we'd like her back for more.
	Sionnach First seen on our pages back in Scarby 2004, this gal was all smiles out at the Angel Sword booth this year because her sword was finally paid off. That sort of thing makes us happy, too. Besides sword play, this fantastic lass is also studying to be a bee keeper! "To bee, or not to bee..." (with our sincere apologies to Mr. Shakespeare)
	Sanura From our Scarby Babes of 2005 and many other wonderful sessions comes the beautiful Kitten of the Nile, Sanura. She's been busy this past year with her hobbies of jewelry making and studying her love of middle eastern dance. We've seen her belly dancing and it's a wonderful sight to behold!
	Sapphire Rain She's back! Last seen in the pages of the Babes of Scarborough 2003 we ran into this very lovely gal out at Scarby again this year and are we glad we did! It's been three years since we last got pictures of her and we hope that we will be able to have her back for a studio session or two (or three) in the near future.
	Lilith You've seen her on our Babes of Scarby 2003 and the star of several photo sets of her own, this timeless lass seems to have a grand appeal the world over, that is if you can trust the requests we keep getting for more photo sets of her. Fans, we've heard and we're working on it. Promise!
	Farasha If you haven't seen Farasha on our pages yet, then this must be the first time you've stopped in! We first met her out at Scarby 2005 and have had several many great sets including TRF 2005 and our Halloween, Christmas, Mardi Gras and Valentines sets, not to mention her set with "The Twins". She is also now our official makeup "Goddess of War-paint". Wow! Give her another year and she'll probably be making the swords, too! ;-)
	Jest Another wonderful minion of the Angel Sword booth that we had the extreme pleasure to meet back in our pages of the Babes of Scarby 2002, Jest has been mysteriously absent for the past several years. However, she has now returned from her sabbatical and we hope to have a series of studio sessions with the fiery lass in the near future.
	La Capitina Take one lovely lass, an awesome pirate outfit and add several fantastic blades and you get Capitina Alexis Valentina Elisabeta Milano! You first was her on out Babes of Scarby 2002 pages and on several since, with several friends and on her own wonderful self. This is one pirate that ships look forward to being taken over by!
	Queen Bonnie, 1st Queen of Everything Newbie And here's our final glamorous gal of Scarby 2006. Bonnie told us quite proudly that she really is the Fairy Queen of just about Everything and not only that, she is a maker of staffs and wands. As timeless as magic itself, we expect to see more of Bonnie in our future trips to the Ren-Faires!

Wait! Remember that "surprise" we were hinting at? Here it is! We had the great fortune to also work with the sword makers out at Wild Wolf Forge (you remember them, the chain maile folks) and they asked us to get pictures of a sword that they have been allowed to duplicate from none other than the grand comic master of the Ren-Faire circuits himself, Don Juan. That's right, the "Don" himself of "Don Juan & Miguel" comic swordplay masters has authorized the folks at Wild Wolf Forge to re-create and sell the style of sword he has been using in his stage act. How best to show you this blade? Gee... we're glad you asked!
